Museo Fratelli Cozzi e Legnano stanno bene insieme.<\/span><\/p>\n

E non solo perch\u00e9 il Museo ha conquistato il <\/span>Traveller\u2019s choice award 2020 di Tripadvisor<\/strong> che lo colloca tra il 10% delle migliori attrazioni al mondo e come prima attrazione della citt\u00e0 di Legnano (grazie!), ma anche perch\u00e9 \u00e8 sempre stato un nostro preciso impegno valorizzare e promuovere le imprese e la storia legnanesi attraverso un racconto che vede le nostre automobili come protagoniste, talvolta, o come comprimarie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In occasione della<\/span> Design Week e del programma di eventi per il Fuorisalone 2021<\/strong>,<\/strong> in collaborazione con <\/span>il distretto 5VIE<\/strong>, <\/b>abbiamo deciso di proporre una mostra-evento per far conoscere non solo il Museo ma anche la storia di un\u2019altra importante realt\u00e0 imprenditoriale di Legnano che oggi non c\u2019\u00e8 pi\u00f9: <\/span>Velca Legnano.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conosci Velca? Scaleo, Vip e Golf sono solo alcuni tra i prodotti pi\u00f9 famosi del marchio legnanese che ha fatto la storia del design. Si tratta di un marchio riconosciuto a livello mondiale: Scaleo (1974) addirittura fa parte della <\/span>collezione del MoMA – Museum of Modern Art di New York.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tra i designer che hanno collaborato con Velca Legnano ci sono nomi davvero noti, talenti indimenticabili come <\/span>Renzo Piano e Oliviero Toscani, Roberto Lucci, Paolo Orlandini, Claudio Platania, Benanti & Brunori, Franco Annoni e Albert Leclerc.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perch\u00e9 vogliamo raccontare la storia di Velca?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Per riportare alla memoria dei legnanesi in primis ma anche di tutti gli appassionati di impresa e di design una straordinaria storia aziendale. Cultura di impresa: quello che le imprese italiane insegnano al mondo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nel 1954, quando all\u2019indomani delle macerie lasciate sul campo dalla guerra tutto sembrava possibile, Aldo Casaroli e Luigi Vedani, in un piccolo capannone di via Balbo, cominciano a costruire la storia di un\u2019azienda che da laboratorio artigianale arriver\u00e0 ad avere, nel momento di massima espansione a cavallo tra la fine degli anni Settanta e i primi Ottanta, ben 140 dipendenti. <\/span>Un\u2019azienda che lascer\u00e0 un segno indelebile, fino ad ora mai raccontato<\/strong> e ricostruito nei passaggi fondamentali, nella storia industriale della citt\u00e0 e del design dell\u2019arredamento da ufficio.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attraverso un percorso con i pannelli e con gli oggetti in esposizione raccontiamo – grazie al contributo del <\/span>giornalista QN-Il Giorno Paolo Girotti e del figlio di uno dei fondatori, Gabriele Vedani<\/strong> –<\/strong> la storia di questa azienda cos\u00ec importante per il panorama legnanese, e non solo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nella Sala Rossa<\/strong> in occasione del Fuorisalone 2021 (4-12 settembre) verr\u00e0 allestita la mostra dedicata a Velca.<\/span><\/p>\n

La mostra verr\u00e0 inaugurata con una conferenza stampa sabato 4 settembre alle 11 e successivamente alle 18 alla presenza delle autorit\u00e0.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le visite guidate<\/strong> con accesso al Museo sono previste domenica 5 settembre alle 11 e alle 18, sabato 11 settembre alle 11 e alle 18 e domenica 12 settembre alle 11.<\/span><\/p>\n
