Di fatto, sebbene nasca a fine 1948, la motorizzazione del Corpo raggiunge questo scopo con l\u2019arruolamento dei primi esemplari di Matta e Giulia TI, a cui seguono tutte le altre, fino ai giorni nostri.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ma quante e quali sono le Alfa dei Carabinieri?<\/strong> La prima, la <strong>1900-M<\/strong> (la Matta, per intenderci), viene assegnata pressoch\u00e9 esclusivamente all\u2019<strong>Esercito Italiano<\/strong>, con molti meno esemplari destinati all\u2019impiego civile. Ai <strong>carabinieri<\/strong> \u2013prima Arma dell\u2019Esercito- nel 1953 vengono assegnate 120 unit\u00e0, con molta probabilit\u00e0 alle sole Legioni di Cagliari, Torino, Firenze, Roma e Milano, tutte in colorazione verde kaki. Ma \u00e8 la <strong>Giulia TI<\/strong> a portare a compimento il progetto del Comando Generale, coniugando prestazioni e doti di affidabilit\u00e0, indispensabili per i gravosi compiti dei \u201cNucleo Radiomobile&#8221;. Ma non finisce qui: dopo i primi millecinquecento esemplari, l\u2019arrivo della versione Super, nel 1969, dona nuova vitalit\u00e0 al servizio grazie ad una vettura che risulta ancora pi\u00f9 prestazionale. Quest\u2019ultima giunge in un momento in cui l\u2019autoparco va ampliandosi per cercare di soddisfare le sempre crescenti richieste di automezzi, specie nell\u2019ambito della prevenzione e repressione dei reati predatori, quelli che caratterizzano l\u2019urbanizzazione degli anni Settanta. La particolare situazione ambientale fa in modo che, fino al 1973, l\u2019Istituzione si approvvigioni di oltre duemila nuovi mezzi che, dopo svariate sperimentazioni (celebre quella del 1970 con la Giulia Super di colore bianco con insegne e scritte sulle fiancate di colore blu), vedono il cambio della colorazione dal militare kaki-oliva al bicolore blu-bianco.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alfa Romeo Alfetta Carabinieri <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un anno dopo la commercializzazione dell\u2019<strong>Alfetta<\/strong>, il Comando Generale procede all\u2019acquisto dei primi settantacinque esemplari da assegnare alle Legioni di Torino, Milano, Roma, Napoli e Palermo.
