border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sempre in concessionaria<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Da quando fu venduta a un affezionato cliente, nel lontano 1986, questa Alfa 90 Quadrifoglio Oro \u00e8 sempre stata curata per la manutenzione ordinaria dalla Concessionaria Fratelli Cozzi, bastavano pochi controlli perch\u00e9 per quanto riguarda il motore di quell\u2019esemplare, un <strong>\u201cBusso\u201d V6 da 156 CV<\/strong>, essendo un piccolo gioiello di meccanica, poco c\u2019era da sostituire o preoccuparsi, mentre per il resto, nel bene e nel male, si sapeva dove mettere le mani grazie all\u2019esperienza pluridecennale fatta dai meccanici con l\u2019Alfetta, modello che la 90 aveva di fatto sostituito nel listino Alfa Romeo nel 1984. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Certo dei cambiamenti rispetto all\u2019Alfetta ne avevano fatti ad Arese (secondo i documenti dell\u2019epoca, in Alfa sostenevano che il 70 % dei componenti fossero nuovi. Nel giro di poco pi\u00f9 di due anni gli uomini che lavorarono a quella nuova berlina riuscirono a portarla all\u2019industrializzazione partendo da un foglio bianco, o meglio utilizzando come base l\u2019esperienza fatta nel decennio precedente con l\u2019Alfetta, dato che i tecnici ripresero da essa tutta la meccanica (disposizione transaxle con motore anteriore, trazione posteriore e gruppo cambio-differenziale al retrotreno, sospensioni anteriori a quadrilateri, ponte posteriore De Dion, freni a disco su tutte le ruote con quelli posteriori ai lati del differenziale) compresi i motori.<\/p>\n<p>Il perch\u00e9 di questa s<strong>celta \u201cobbligata\u201d<\/strong> \u00e8 sempre da ricondurre alla cronica mancanza di fondi da investire per un progetto totalmente nuovo, non dobbiamo dimenticare che come periodo storico siamo quasi a cavallo della cessione dell\u2019Alfa Romeo al Gruppo Fiat e che negli stessi anni stava per essere approntata anche l\u2019Alfa 75, l\u2019erede della Giulietta.<\/p>\n<p>Forse l\u2019aver messo troppa carne al fuoco dalle parti di Arese ha creato una sorta di cortocircuito commerciale, con due nuove vetture dedicate a due tipologie di acquirenti diversi: di rappresentanza la 90, e pi\u00f9 sportiva &#8211; e meno costosa &#8211; la 75. Per sua sfortuna la 90 non super\u00f2 brillantemente la \u201cprova concessionaria\u201d, cos\u00ec mentre la 75 incontr\u00f2 subito i favori degli appassionati grazie anche alla linea al passo con i tempi, l\u2019Alfa 90, fin dalla presentazione al Salone di Torino del 1984, fu subito subissata di critiche negative perch\u00e9 troppo simile meccanicamente ed esteticamente con la vecchia Alfetta che andava a sostituire, in pratica fu considerata solo come un profondo restyling nonostante l\u2019impegno di <strong>Bertone<\/strong> e in tutta la sua carriera fu venduta in poco pi\u00f9 di <strong>55mila esemplari<\/strong>\u2026 nove volte meno dell\u2019Alfetta.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_3,1_3,1_3&#8243; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Il lavoro dei designer<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">L&#8217;<strong>Alfa Romeo scelse Bertone<\/strong> per infondere personalit\u00e0 e stile all\u2019Alfa 90, ma costringendo il suo Centro stile a non modificare le dimensioni fondamentali della scocca (attacchi delle sospensioni, giroporta, inclinazione di parabrezza, lunotto ecc.). Cos\u00ec i designer, basandosi sul pianale dell\u2019Alfetta, ne preservarono le dimensioni esterne e la caratteristica silhouette a tre volumi, ma rivoluzionarono l\u2019approccio al design delle berline del Biscione degli Anni \u201970, concentrandosi maggiormente sull\u2019<strong>eleganza e sulla cura dei dettagli e delle finiture<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Quello che suscit\u00f2 meno entusiasmo fra gli appassionati del Marchio del Biscione fu il frontale, poich\u00e9 l\u2019aspetto aggressivo fu parecchio attenuato, mantenendo comunque il classico scudo Alfa, seppur ridotto, al centro della griglia. Nell\u2019abitacolo, fra i due sedili davanti, faceva la sua prima apparizione la leva del freno a mano dalla forma a maniglione dal vago sapore aeronautico, come un altro dettaglio iconico era <strong>la valigetta ventiquattrore<\/strong> fornita come optional e prodotta da Valextra, che era collocata in uno scomparto dedicato nella plancia di fronte al passeggero, e aggiungeva un ulteriore tocco di classe e funzionalit\u00e0. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ora quella valigetta \u00e8 l\u2019<strong>oggetto del desiderio dei collezionisti<\/strong> e dal punto di vista venale ha un valore a volte superiore della vettura stessa. La versione Quadrifoglio Oro era la meglio accessoriata anche se gravata, fiscalmente parlando, dall\u2019IVA al 38% perch\u00e9 considerata di lusso per via della cilindrata del suo V6 di 2.5 litri. Questa versione aveva di serie i quattro vetri elettrici, servosterzo, sedili regolabile elettricamente cos\u00ec come gli specchietti retrovisori. Anche se non c\u2019era nulla da trasportare, non possedere una SW per recarsi in ufficio era impensabile per qualsiasi manager in carriera. Per\u00f2 l\u2019offerta commerciale di vetture di un certo livello che un giovane rampante aveva a disposizione era abbastanza limitata, e sicuramente l\u2019Alfa Romeo non rientrava nelle ipotesi di acquisto, finch\u00e9 un bel giorno a <strong>Luca Grandori<\/strong>, allora direttore di <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Autocapital<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, venne un\u2019idea: perch\u00e9 non realizzare una SW che potesse dare del filo da torcere alla Volvo 245, una delle vetture di tendenza pi\u00f9 ambite dell\u2019epoca? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ci prov\u00f2 inizialmente commissionando, nel 1983, a <strong>Zagato<\/strong> la trasformazione di un\u2019Alfetta da berlina a SW, ma quando il primo modello fu pronto per uno scherzo del destino l\u2019Alfa Romeo sostitu\u00ec l\u2019Alfetta con la 90. Arrendersi? Mai. Cos\u00ec Grandori non perse tempo e, nel 1985, si rivolse alla <strong>Carrozzeria Marazzi<\/strong> commissionando un\u2019altra SW, in pratica un\u2019evoluzione della precedente, usando la nuova base dell\u2019Alfa 90 che oltretutto poteva sfruttare il potente motore V6 da 2,5 litri, precedentemente disponibile solo per l\u2019Alfa 6 e l\u2019Alfetta GTV. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Questa mossa sembrava promettente. Il designer della Marazzi, <strong>Mario Mauri<\/strong>, prese ispirazione dalla \u201cprima della classe\u201d Volvo 245 e dall\u2019Audi 100, integrando elementi dell\u2019Alfa 90, ma arricchendola con particolari sfiziosi e intelligenti come il telo copribagagli che si ritraeva lateralmente anzich\u00e9 arrotolarsi dietro il sedile posteriore. Questo sistema risultava molto pi\u00f9 pratico, evitando il problema di dover rimuovere e gestire l\u2019avvolgitore durante il trasporto di oggetti voluminosi. Purtroppo, nel 1986, del progetto non se ne fece pi\u00f9 niente anche a causa dello scarso successo di vendita della berlina.
