border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1><em>Volanti Alfa Romeo\u00a0\u2013 parte 1<\/em><\/h1>\n<p>I volanti che equipaggiano le vetture della Casa Milanese iniziano ad avere <strong>una propria identit\u00e0 stilistica negli anni \u201950<\/strong>, tra la scia delle ultime \u201c6C 2500\u201d realizzate <em>(foto 1.1)<\/em>, ancora con tecnologia anteguerra e telaio a longheroni <em>(foto 1.2)<\/em>, e le prime serie della berlina \u201c1900\u201d, la prima vettura progettata con scocca portante e prodotta al Portello su una vera e propria linea di assemblaggio.<\/p>\n<p>Il volante che equipaggia la 1900 berlina \u00e8 molto semplice e con un design e una funzionalit\u00e0 definibili come \u201cconvenzionali\u201d nei primi anni \u201950 <em>(foto 1.3)<\/em>: diametro ampio, bachelite, corona sottile <em>(foto 1.4)<\/em>, bicolore, anello cromato che interseca a met\u00e0 le due razze <em>(foto 1.5)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Immancabile (anche se in futuro ci saranno interessanti eccezioni) lo <strong>stemma Alfa Romeo al centro<\/strong>, ben visibile, circondato dalla corona d\u2019alloro <em>(foto 1.6)<\/em>, testimone dei successi nelle competizioni, a maggior ragione quando la \u201cmillenove\u201d \u00e8 coeva dei due Mondiali di F.1 (i primi due della storia) conquistati dall\u2019\u201dAlfetta 158\/159\u201d (1950-\u201951).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_4,1_4,1_4,1_4&#8243; e cinque anni pi\u00f9 tardi viene esteso al modello d\u2019ingresso della gamma con la \u201cGiulietta\u201d, vettura che trasforma l\u2019Alfa Romeo in un grande costruttore (circa 180.000 esemplari prodotti a fine carriera, numeri mai visti al Portello).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Siamo a met\u00e0 degli anni Cinquanta<\/strong> e il volante della Giulietta \u00e8 molto simile a quello della sorella maggiore 1900 <em>(foto 1.7)<\/em>, con qualche variazione: il Marchio Alfa posto al centro, oltre ad essere circondato dalla \u201csolita\u201d corona d\u2019alloro, \u00e8, nella porzione esterna, contornato dal nome del modello (sopra) e della versione specifica nella parte inferiore <em>(foto 1.8)<\/em>. border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Prima dell\u2019arrivo della \u201cGiulia T.I.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Prima dell\u2019arrivo della \u201cGiulia T.I.\u201d<\/strong> (1962), la gamma si amplia verso l\u2019altro con la \u201c2000\u201d berlina seguita dalla grossa \u201c2600\u201d (6 cilindri), a tutti gli effetti l\u2019ammiraglia della gamma: il volante di queste due \u201cberlinone\u201d rispecchia ancora i canoni stilistici (e funzionali) della seconda met\u00e0 degli anni Cinquanta, con un diametro ancora pi\u00f9 \u201cimportante\u201d <em>(foto 1.9)<\/em>, se vogliamo proporzionato al rango della vettura e, pragmatismo funzionale, per agevolare lo sforzo delle braccia di chi guida <em>(foto 1.10)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>All\u2019epoca <strong>il cosiddetto \u201cservosterzo\u201d non era previsto<\/strong>. A fianco delle berline al top di gamma ci sono le rispettive versioni coup\u00e9 &#8211; 2000 e 2600 \u201cSprint\u201d &#8211; e roadster &#8211; 2000 e 2600 \u201cSpider\u201d &#8211; equipaggiate con un volante (finalmente) sportivo ed elegante <em>(foto 1.11)<\/em>, da vera gran turismo all\u2019italiana, che ritroveremo su coup\u00e8 e spider della prima gamma della \u201cGiulia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dal 27 giugno del 1962, all\u2019Autodromo Nazionale di Monza,<strong> il mondo dell\u2019automobile subisce un sussulto<\/strong>: il Presidente dell\u2019Alfa Romeo <strong>Giuseppe Luraghi presenta la \u201cGiulia T.I.\u201d<\/strong>, nuova interpretazione del concetto di berlina sportiva, ma non solo. Ma<strong> \u00e8 il trattamento grafico dello Stemma Alfa Romeo ad apparire originale<\/strong>: iscritto in una sorta di coprimozzo esagonale &#8211; inizialmente di colore nero poi variato in bianco &#8211; con i lati verticali pi\u00f9 corti. Super\u201d del 1963, versione realizzata per essere impiegata nelle competizioni, la Giulia propone il volante a tre razze <em>(foto 1.13)<\/em>, molto simile a quello apparso l\u2019anno precedente su \u201cGiulia Spider\u201d <em>(foto 1.14)<\/em> e \u201cGiulia Sprint\u201d, con una leggera inclinazione delle razze stesse verso il coprimozzo <em>(foto 1.15)<\/em>: uno<strong> stile pulito<\/strong>, molto caratteristico, immediatamente recepito come<strong> sportivo<\/strong>, <strong>perfetto<\/strong> per la berlina sportiva del biscione. Corona in plastica nera lucida, razze in metallo e su ciascuna una fessura al centro <em>(foto 1.16)<\/em> &#8211; per alleggerimento ed estetica &#8211;\u00a0 coperchio coprimozzo centrale anch\u2019esso nero lucido con corona d\u2019alloro e Stemma Alfa Romeo in color alluminio <em>(foto 1.17)<\/em>. Questo comincia ad essere considerato dal pubblico, e dagli alfisti, <strong>una tipologia di volante \u201cmolto-Alfa Romeo\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sempre nel 1963 arriva sul mercato la versione coup\u00e9 della berlina sportiva milanese, cio\u00e8 la \u201cGiulia Sprint GT\u201d, vettura di grande successo, che esalta le caratteristiche tecniche di base della \u201cserie 105\u201d (cio\u00e8 Giulia) e che nel cuore degli appassionati e degli alfisti sostituisce un \u201cmostro sacro\u201d come la Giulietta Sprint. La \u201cSprint GT\u201d adotta da subito il volante a tre razze della \u201cT.I.
