Vi \u00e8 una discendenza di uomini che, di fronte all&#8217;avvento sempre pi\u00f9 prepotente del miracolo motoristico, compresero che era necessario passare da un&#8217;industria morente a quella nascente. E di questi uomini rimasero in piedi soltanto quelli che seppero dimenticare&#8221;. I pochi telai prodotti nel periodo tra le due guerre, furono carrozzati da Touring, Stabilimenti Farina, Zagato, Francis Lombardi, Ghia, Garavini che, realizzando le mitiche vetture del Portello, contribuirono con fantasia e stile all\u2019immagine dell\u2019Alfa Romeo.\r\nGeneralmente a quell\u2019epoca tutte le carrozzerie erano costitute da una struttura portante in legno ricoperte da finta pelle, pi\u00f9 tardi fu utilizzato il ferro, invece l\u2019alluminio veniva usato raramente. Tutti questi elementi erano tenuti insieme da viti, bulloni, colla e in pratica costituivano la scocca che veniva fissata al telaio.\r\nNella sua \u201cStoria dei carrozzieri\u201d, Angelo Tito Anselmi riporta che nel 1923, Nicola Romeo, pens\u00f2 che sarebbe stato opportuno poter proporre alla clientela Alfa non solo \u201cfuoriserie\u201d ma vetture con carrozzerie di tipo unificato. Cos\u00ec nel mese di giugno dello stesso anno, costitu\u00ec la Carrozzeria Nord Italia, uno stabilimento sussidiario di carrozzeria cui vennero affidate le vestizioni di alcuni telai delle vetture RL e RM e i primi esemplari della NR 6C 1500 (*1).\r\nQuesta operazione non apparve limpida agli azionisti di maggioranza che contestarono il suo operato (*2) e la carrozzeria venne chiusa \u201cper mancanza di lavoro\u201d il 12 settembre del 1928. risanamento dell\u2019Alfa, l\u2019ingegnere Prospero Gianferrari, nominato Direttore Generale dell\u2019Istituto di Liquidazioni che aveva assunto il controllo dell\u2019Alfa, fu autorizzato a fare
