Friends of Museo Fratelli Cozzi is the "non-profit" soul of the Museum. Read what it is all about!

The association promotes cultural events for local schools

A LOOK AT THE STATUTE

Here are two important points from our statute that we want to share with you!

1. The association is non-partisan and non-profit-making. Theaims of the association are, in particular, the development and dissemination of the culture of science and technology in the specific sector
   of the car, whether vintage or recent, Italian or foreign-made, of any brand,
   as well as the promotion and management of museum systems and networks -Culture, dissemination and development. As our director Elisabetta likes to say, 'you can eat with culture', and the aim of the association is precisely that of promoting the development and growth of the territory through our historical heritage.
2. In order toachieve its purpose, the Association operates directly or in collaboration with other organisations or institutions - Here we emphasise the territory and how proud we are to be part of it, collaborating with organisations and associations like ours to help our community grow! In addition to the numerous museum networks of which we are part: MuseImpresa, MuseoCity, MuDe (Musei del Design della Lombardia).

WHAT DO WE DO?

But what does the association actually do?

Here are some (non-exhaustive!) examples:

• We have contributed to the exhibition " Where there are people, there is Velca" to bring back to the memory of the city of Legnano (and not only) a company that has now disappeared but has made design history throughout the world.
• We collaborate with other associations and foundations (e.g. Cittadinanza Attiva, Fondazione Ticino Olona, Fondazione Famiglia Legnanese, CDI Jerago, CIF, etc.) and have hosted socially relevant conferences. 
• We have developed educational programmes for schools and opened the Museum to student classes at a reduced price.
• Support the restoration of the Museum's cars!

The last point, in particular, focuses on the passion for Alfa Romeos: did you know that the association contributes financially to the restoration of our 'little ones'? An excellent reason to help, don't you think?

If they are so beautiful and shiny, it is also thanks to Friends of Museo Fratelli Cozzi, after all!
