Photo exhibition becomes traveling

December 18, 2023

The exhibition "Women and Motors? Joy and Enough" becomes itinerant. The first places where it is exhibited are the G. Galilei in Legnano and the offices of The Business Place.

The photo exhibition "Women and motors? Just Joys" becomes traveling! (you already know what we are talking about, right?)

After its opening last Nov. 21 in the Museum's Red Room, for the next 12 months the exhibition will travel through various public and private places such as libraries, schools, city halls and exhibition spaces, bringing with it all its charm and very important message.

The exhibition, made in two copies, is on display at this time both at theG. Galilei Higher Education Institute in Legnano until Dec. 22 and in some companies belonging to the "Place of Business": A&A Studio Legale, Studio Guenzani - accountant and Quattro STP - labor consultants and Boardwalk.

Why itinerant? The mission of the exhibition

The photo exhibition was born traveling, fresh and adventurous right from the start! Designed to be displayed in various spaces, it has a clear goal: to spread a message and make it accessible to as many people as possible.

But what is the mission of the project? To redefine the connection between women and cars, challenging ingrained stereotypes and prejudices that have always tainted this relationship. The goal is not only to trigger in the eye of the beholder a profound change in perspective, but to work toward a broader cultural shift.

The 20 women in this second edition, portrayed in 20 of the Museum's cars, not surprisingly have their hands firmly on the steering wheel and their eyes in the rearview mirror: photographer Camilla Albertini wanted to give them a strong, identifiable image that communicates how important it is to have and maintain true and authentic equality.
